For 7 years I worked for Dade County School District as an Administrator, overseeing new construction and repairs of Portable Classrooms. I saw, firsthand, the poor conditions and all of the constant repairs and upgrades that portable clasees needed because of the harsh Florida weather. This inspired me to design a new building for these kids in the school system. 6 years ago I designed a new portable classroom system that I knew would withstand the toughest - extreme heat/sun, humidity, salt air, flood-like rains and the worst of them all - HURRICANES.
Hurricane season came and I tried to purchase protection for my home. I wanted something STRONG, EASY and AFFORDABLE. I FOUND NOTHING. I did not want to put up heavy metal panels or plywood. So I came up with an idea to create my own hurricane panel. And we call it........................

I took the idea from the new portable classroom building design, called my engineer, and redesigned it to create an all new Hurricane Panel System. We had to make it meet the Miami Dade County Florida Product Approval requirements. EASY HURRICANE PANELS TESTED & PASSES LARGE MISSILE IMPACT @ 146 MPH PLUS 20% FOR HIGH WIND GUSTS. I had it tested at the American Test Lab of South Florida and it is now considered to be one of the strongest hurricane protection products on the market. APPROVED AND STATE CERTIFIED!!!!!! APPROVED by Miami Dade County Florida Building Department.
